Your Investment
Doing this work well takes real investment in accurate type identification and skilled facilitation. Here’s how that investment breaks down.
The Approach
Why Facilitation Matters
Most teams that try the Enneagram take an online assessment, share their results, maybe have a discussion — and move on. It’s easy to underestimate the system, because on the surface it looks simple: nine types, a few labels, a quick test. But the Enneagram describes core motivation, not just behavior. It names the patterns people fall into under stress, the growth edges colleagues have likely already noticed, and the real reasons people do what they do. That depth is what makes it so useful in a team context — but it’s also what makes skilled facilitation essential.
This is personal content. People are engaging with their vulnerabilities and growth areas in front of their colleagues. A facilitator who understands the system at depth can hold that conversation with care, build psychological safety in real time, and help a team leave with something that actually sticks. Someone who’s read the books and can lead a discussion isn’t the same thing. If you’re going to do this work, it’s worth doing it right.
