Offsites & Retreats

The Enneagram is one of the most valuable things you can bring into an offsite or retreat — here’s how to do it well.

HOW IT WORKS

Built for the Format

The offsite or retreat context is actually ideal for Enneagram work. You have dedicated time, people are away from their day-to-day, and there’s a natural container for the kind of honest conversation the Enneagram invites.

If this is your team’s first time with the Enneagram, the Introduction Workshop is where you start — a half-day or full-day session during your offsite covering the system, all nine types, and a shared language for how your team works. If you have a second day, you can add a Team Dynamics Workshop, an Application Module, or an Advanced Module. If Enneagram work is just one piece of a broader offsite agenda, a half-day session fits cleanly into that. Every offsite is different — get in touch and we’ll figure out what makes sense for your team.

Every offsite is a little different.

I’ll help you figure out the right configuration based on where your team is starting from, what you want to walk away with, and how much time you have.

Common Questions

It depends on the focus of the offsite. If it’s your team’s first exposure to the Enneagram, the pre-work is the same as for any initial introduction: each participant takes the Voyance Assessment and, optionally, completes a Type Consultation to debrief their results before the group session. If your team has already been introduced and you’re coming in for a follow-on module, the pre-work requirements vary — we’ll sort that out when we design the program together.

No — and this is intentional. One focused session per day is what gives the work room to land. The Enneagram invites real reflection, and people need time to process what they’re hearing. A second session the same day shortchanges both.

No. A half-day session works well when Enneagram work is one part of a broader offsite agenda. We’ll figure out the right duration based on what you want to accomplish and how much time you have.

Then we skip the Introduction and start with what comes next. Depending on where your team is, that might be Team Dynamics, an Application Module, or something more targeted. Get in touch and we’ll figure out the right fit.

In-person is preferred — the format works best when people are in the same room. Virtual is available for distributed teams.

The assessment needs to be completed at least a week before the session, so the design conversation should happen several weeks prior. Four to six weeks gives us comfortable lead time.

Let’s Talk About Your Team

Whether you’re exploring the Enneagram for the first time or looking to go deeper with a team that’s already been introduced, I’d love to hear what you have in mind.
